ABOUT THE ROLE This position is responsible for leading production crews and coordinating daily operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to manage scheduling, resources, and production requirements while addressing issues in real time. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide leadership and oversight to Leadman and general laborer crews to support efficient daily operations.
- Communicate with the Wetcast Manager, Leadman, and laborers regarding work instructions, materials, and production requirements.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, batch plants, and Quality Control to ensure production pours remain on schedule.
- Plan and manage manpower, production start times, batch plant operations, and required quality control checks.
- Promote and enforce safety standards through inspections and employee observations; serve as the point of contact for injury reporting and ensure timely completion of incident reports to the Business Unit Leader (BUL).
- Monitor housekeeping standards and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Oversee labor reporting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and communicate maintenance needs to the Business Unit Leader promptly.
- Address employee concerns, provide conflict resolution, and escalate issues to the BUL as necessary.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, reduce errors, and drive cost savings while developing skills and knowledge.

This individual is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence. IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous supervisory/leadership skills preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and blue print.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse group of people.
- Ability to get to work on time, on a daily basis.
- Detail and quality assurance oriented
- Possession of a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
- Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors year-round
- Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
