ABOUT THE ROLE

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and lubrication services on vehicles and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This role focuses on fluid services, filter changes, inspections, and basic maintenance tasks that support fleet and equipment readiness. The technician will complete assigned work orders, document all services performed, and maintain strong attention to safety, accuracy, and quality in a fast-paced maintenance environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Perform fluid services including draining and replacing oil and checking/topping off coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and other required fluids
  • Complete all assigned work orders daily using the FIIX app or other maintenance tracking system
  • Replace oil filters, air filters, fuel filters, and other routine maintenance filters as needed
  • Inspect tires, check air pressure, and assist with tire rotations and basic tire maintenance
  • Conduct visual inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify leaks, wear, or safety concerns
  • Perform lubrication of moving parts including chassis components, engine parts, and wheel bearings
  • Complete minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fuses, and windshield wipers
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all completed work
  • Communicate service findings and maintenance needs through the work order system and to supervisors as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company maintenance standards at all times


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual who is mechanically inclined, takes pride in hands-on work, and is committed to maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced maintenance environment. The ideal candidate works well both independently and as part of a team, follows direction consistently, and is motivated to learn and grow in preventative maintenance and equipment servicing.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Self-starter with strong motivation and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and mechanical devices
  • Ability to read a tape measure and other precision measuring tools accurately
  • Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
  • Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
  • Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors year-round
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
