ABOUT THE ROLE A Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing building systems and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role performs preventative maintenance, responds to work orders, and supports electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems, including alarms and ventilation. The ideal candidate helps coordinate with production, maintains equipment performance standards, and keeps the maintenance shop clean and organized while ensuring all work meets health and safety requirements. They are skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and control systems and respond quickly to maintenance needs to minimize downtime and support production goals. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
