Role Overview

As an MRA intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of creative, technical, and team-oriented projects that support key business initiatives. Your contributions will play a crucial role in advancing our success and enhancing member value. This internship will provide you with broad exposure to various MRA lines of business and allow you to interact with a wide range of business professionals across the organization.

Responsibilities



  • Project Work: Assist with and contribute to creative, technical, and strategic projects within assigned department(s).

    • HRS (Human Resource Services): Responsibilities will include working in-house and on assignment with our member companies.

      • On-site member work will be performed with an MRA HR Business Partner. Member Projects will be primarily administrative including Compliance Audits and Employee File Organization projects but may expand into other areas such as benefits and leave of absence administration.
      • Internally, work on projects such as researching and proposing updates to audit, and policy templates and updating annual HR calendar templates. Will also conduct competitive research on various products and services.






  • Professional Interaction: Network with business professionals and gain insights into various functions within the organization.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within teams, contributing ideas and supporting project goals.


Qualifications



  • Work Schedule: available at least 16 hours a week (20-35 hours a week preferred during the summer, and 20-30 hours preferred during the fall). Duration: June 2025-August 2025


  • Education: Currently pursuing or recent graduate with a major in HR or related studies.
  • Skills: able to perform at a high level of productivity with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in all Microsoft products specifically: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn new technologies and systems.
  • Attributes: Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to different roles and tasks as needed.
