Claremont, CA Job Posting Title: Catering Staff IJob Description: PRIMARY PURPOSE/GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Following directions with a function sheet, floor plan and supervisory directions, the Catering Staff assists with the set-up of College events; serves food and clears tables at College events; and assists with maintaining catering supplies and equipment. Catering provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This information is intended to be a descriptive of the key responsibilities of the position.The list of essential functions below does not identify all duties performed by any single incumbent in this position.Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the job. LICENSES / CERTIFICATES: State law requires a current California Handler's Card. Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and maintain a driving record acceptable to the Colleges' insurance carrier. OTHER: HOURS & CLASSIFICATION AND STATUS: This is a regular status, full-time (40 hours per week), 12 month, benefits eligible, and non-exempt level position. The scheduled hours for this position are Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Hours and days are subject to change based on the needs of the College or the department. Hourly rate range: $19.00-$20.25. The hourly rate of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, andtraining. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None. Ability to bend and stoop, for example, to file.Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, push, pull, stoop, twist, stretch, and lift boxes and break down up to 30 pounds without assistance.
