Company Description

The Program Director is responsible for the financial monitoring, delivery of services, performance management, and quality of delivery for the Young Adult, SEAL and Disability Services Programs and Procedures. Sets expectations to exceed performance goals in accordance with the Equus Workforce Services Statement of Work, State Metrics, WFSDallas Directives, and Project Management standards. This position will provide the program with leadership, guidance and accountability to exceed contracted performance measures and financial goals in accordance with the Statement of Work, State Metrics, and WFSDallas directives.

Job Description
  • Oversee Young Adult (WEX), SEAL, Disability Services Program maintaining records, tracking outcomes, and building a rapport with area employers as well as monitoring payroll functions and activities.

  • Develop strategic plans to meet performance and financial expectations.

  • Monitors performance on a daily basis and address performance deficiencies immediately.

  • Communicate with WFSDallas staff on a regular basis regarding program updates and initiatives.

  • Provide leadership and direction to maximize performance.

  • Work with the Business Solutions Team to connect more job seekers with employers and disseminate those opportunities to program staff, ensure job developers are tracking Employer Services in Work in Texas.

  • Collaborate with center leadership, trainer, and quality team to ensure new hires have training development plans and existing case managers receive ongoing training.

  • Attend leadership meetings as scheduled and communicate progress and/or areas for improvement promptly to Project Director and/or Deputy Director.

  • Facilitate meetings with partners to promote full and frequent communication.

Qualifications
  • Requires track record and examples of team building and management skills, including work direction, performance monitoring, performance counseling, performance recognition, quality reviews, job seeker service skills, development of team, and demonstrated history of communicating effectively with employers.

  • Requires demonstrated experience working with various Federal/State programs including: Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA), Summer Earn And Learn (SEAL), Ticket to Work and Employment services.

  • Prefer Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Major in Management or Social Services a plus.

  • A minimum of five (5) years equivalent work experience in related field.

  • Associates Degree from an accredited college or university will suffice along with a minimum of three

  • (3) years of management experience.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written skills.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to read, analyze, and develop work plans based on performance and financial reports.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Additional Information

The hours of operations: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday - Friday.

The salary for this position is: $90,001.60 per year.

50% travel within Dallas County.
