Description
Complete The Aster Service Standards training to learn about our products, steps of service and property standards Detail all tables before service begins, ensure place settings are neat and organized and proper lighting are on the tables Ensure appropriate table setting and china is used for various services throughout the day; breakfast, lunch, dinner or feast service; items in place (ketchup, salt pepper, HP and sugar bowl). Stock all stations upon arrival (small plates, sharing plates, water and wines glasses, and all the silverware) and maintain throughout service along with working with your team to keep neat Maintain section and ensure water is delivery upon guests' arrival while also assisting other sections when applicable Clear tables plates, silver / glassware between each course and subsequently wipe down and re-set table for new guests Polish silverware and pot wash are stored according to local standards Complete side work before and after service Making sure the cabinet and shelf in the bar area are full before service (glassware - silverware - plate ware). Run food and drinks when needed or asked by leadership Required Skills/Qualifications 1+ years of experience in similar role Flexible schedule and open to working weekends / holidays (when needed) Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Detail oriented ability to multitask and deliver results in demanding and fast-paced environments Basic verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands. Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours. Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others. Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds. Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
