RESIDENTIAL ASSISTANT

Talbott Recovery is currently looking for PRN Residential Assistants to assist in our Patient Housing Program. At Talbott Recovery we focus on patient-centered care and a personal individualized approach, upholding a high standard of innovative treatment and compassionate attention to each individual patient's needs. Qualifications

Position Summary

Maintains milieu according to program schedule monitors and provides care for consumers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures program schedule is maintained.
  • Facilitates compliance of all program rules and guidelines.
  • Monitors for safety and well-being of all patients living within the residences.
  • Makes rounds of apartments as directed and report any problems to the Program Supervisor.
  • Transportation of patients, to and from specific locations as required.
  • Completes room checks, safety checks and client supervision as directed.
  • Provides empathic, supportive approach to all client interactions.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience working with dually diagnosed individuals preferred.
  • CPR certification (or willing to accept training)
  • Valid GA Driver's license required
