We are currently seeking to fill our Registrar position at the Philadelphia campus with a highly qualified and passionate individual.

SUMMARY

The Registrar is responsible for ensuring that the department's activities and operations related to student academic records comply with all federal, state, and institutional accreditation standards. The incumbent ensures the integrity and effective maintenance of student academic records, including issuing diplomas and transcripts, certification of degrees, grading, verification of enrollment, transfer evaluations, and registration.

This is a supervisory role, overseeing several direct and indirect reports, including some in the GA location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful incumbent will perform the following duties, with or without reasonable accommodations:

* Oversee key departmental activities, including but not limited to developing the academic calendar, course catalog, registration processes, course and classroom scheduling, and the collection, recording, and distribution of student grades.

* Perform regular audits or reviews to ensure accurate and timely recording of student records into appropriate systems and databases, including PCOM's student information system (Banner).

* Review end-of-term reports for accuracy and ensure timely distribution to internal stakeholders, including the Academic Policy and Promotions committees.

* Ensure the completion of degree conferral processes for all academic programs.

* Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to registrar activities; apply this knowledge to recommend and implement changes to departmental policies and procedures as appropriate.

* Serve as the subject matter expert for developing, implementing, and enforcing educational policies, including compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

* Fulfill statutory reporting and audit obligations for registrar functions and accreditation statistical reports, including but not limited to IPEDS, National Student Clearinghouse, and the Federal Gainful Employment survey.

* Perform talent and performance management activities for direct reports, including professional development plans, performance goals, evaluations, and pay-for-performance actions in line with organizational guidelines.

* Administer educational benefit programs, such as those through Veteran's Affairs (VA), in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

* Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Minimum of five years' experience in registrar operations, preferably in a leadership role.

* Advanced knowledge of higher education registration and records maintenance procedures, including federal and state requirements and student information systems administration. Familiarity with Banner, E*Value, and Blackboard, preferred.

* High level of technical fluency with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email, and virtual meeting applications, preferably on the Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 platforms.

* Strong leadership, planning, organizational, written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Ability to sit for prolonged periods, up to eight hours per day.

* Ability to view computer screens for extended periods, up to eight hours per day.

* Manual dexterity and mobility to use personal computers and other office equipment.

Salary Range: $97,528 - $134,310

The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
