Below, you'll find other important information about this position. This positon will have the primary responsibility for ensuring strategic projects are done on time and within the specified budget. The position contributes to meeting the goals of the HVI, which include the development of project plans and dashboard to support the administrative function of HVI. This position will utilize and summarize data from the electronic health record to produce reports and create analytics in order to drive business operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High School Diploma or EquivalentANDFour years of high level Administrative ExperienceORAssociate's Degree

ANDTwo years of high level Executive Office experienceORBachelor's Degree

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, and Communications or related field.

2. Two years of healthcare business experience or two years of analytical experience in alternative field.

3. EPIC experience.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. 1. Assists WVU HVI Leadership in defining and documenting the scope, goals and objectives of a specific projects including development of project charter, project plans, including action steps, and resources.

2. Ensures that project plans are accurately captured and documented for monitoring and tracking of each initiative's progress.

3. Assists HVI Leadership in assuring the designated project is proceeding according to agreed upon timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters.

4. Coordinates activities involved in the preparation and distribution of correspondence to facilitate on-going communications and efficient operations for HVI Leadership.

5. Completes a wide range of tasks using Microsoft Office products such as letters, memoranda, policies, reports, notes, or drafts of dictation, in an accurate, neat and timely manner as assigned.

6. Compiles accurate statistical, financial or unit activity data for department as assigned. Performs calculations, formulates in final report form; conveys and discusses key points with leadership. Makes recommendations where applicable.

7. Maintains appropriate records and established filing system to ensure the expeditious retrieval so that HVI Leadership staff can accomplish their responsibilities

8.Leads and organizes Epic based projects, including but not limited to, proper documentation initiatives (Epic Templates, SmartPhrase implementation, etc.).

9.Supports the quick and efficient closure of encounters for providers ensuring no delays in billing, accurate and timely notes, and eliminating the risk of providers landing on delinquency lists.

10. Assists with projects as assigned by HVI Leadership.

11. Responsible for managing multiple task simultaneously to support HVI Leadership

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong computer & organizational skills.

2. Ability to problem solve and make appropriate decisions

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel

4. Knowledge of Microsoft Project

5. Knowledge of SharePoint Development
