Sales Manager, Force Measurement

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the defined channel sales strategy in specified market scope (global/regional) in an effective manner to improve ABB's market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations in the assigned channel. Each day, you will execute channel sales strategies and initiatives within the assigned market, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel, in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a critical contributor to the sales customer base growth for the assigned channel.
This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in the Southeast region.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Implementing the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget.
*Creating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies.
*Reporting the progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets.
*Conducting analyses on channel activity and taking ownership for solving any identified problems if they were to arise.

Qualifications for the role
  • BS/AS in Electrical, Mechanical or job experience equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, sales support, maintenance or operations.
  • Knowledge or understanding of mechanical and electrical industrial equipment. A plus would be automation or process control understanding in either the Paper or Metals market.
  • The proven ability to develop and manage customer accounts.
  • A team focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $74,900 and $139,100 annually and is bonus eligible.
