Introduction to the job

The Customer Support Organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, upgrade, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local site Customer Support branches perform qualification, repair, upgrades, and maintenance for the customers within the specific region.

As a CS Project Lead, you are responsible for managing the customer and local interfaces to ensure that the install project is executed safely, per quality standards, in the agreed time, and at the agreed cost. In this role you will use resources from CS Factory, local office CS team and other support organizations. This role sits within EXE/EUV Installs which is responsible for supporting all major customers (TSMC, Intel, Samsung, and Micron).

Role and responsibilities

  • Independently manages at least 2 phases of an installation (Pre-install, MI, Post H2, DL), within the first 2 years in the role.

  • Independently manages 2 phases project scope including resources, quality, cycle time, stake holders, reporting, risk mitigation, and team performance, within the 1st 2 years in the role.

  • Drives continuous improvement within the project, and execution.

  • Successfully mentors and trains other PLs through installation phases.

  • Consistently applies and utilizes standard project leadership tools and techniques.

  • Can manage complex project and/or less complex projects in parallel.

  • Has completed ASML PM Practitioner & Management fundamentals training within the first 2 years in the role.

  • Independently sets priorities within their scope and is looking ahead.

  • Drives safety within the project and develops a safety culture within the project.

  • Promptly responds to near misses and safety issues brought to their attention.

  • Implements continuous improvement actions to proactively avoid safety issues.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or similar degree with equivalent years of experience.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience with technical project management.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in external stakeholder and change management.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in MS Office and various database software programs.

  • Expect to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25%.

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
