The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Urology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary or specialty medical care within defined scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician and in accordance with MCW/FMLH/CHW policies and procedures. The position will have an independent ambulatory practice in the Urology Center and will assist in the outpatient care of patients within the Reconstructive and Neuro-Urology subspecialty. The position will also include General Urology clinic staffing including minor procedures located in Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. The Ideal Candidate will be a seasoned APP with experience in Urology or another surgical specialty wanting to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Preferred Experience: 3+ years of experience in Urology or another Surgical Specialty Minimum Education: Advanced Practice Nurse: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing Minimum Requirements: *or eligible Advanced Practice Nurse Physician Assistant Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Wisconsin Physician Assistant License Wisconsin RN License Certification by NCCPA Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA Certification as Acute Care NP and Adult Care NP Preferred.
