Become a Student Brand Ambassador for Westlaw, the most-used legal research platform by law firm attorneys for 18 years and counting. As the face of Westlaw on campus, Student Brand Ambassador knows the goings-on of the law school, along with student culture, and promotes Westlaw as the number one research solution to other law students. A high-impact Student Brand Ambassador has excellent interpersonal skills, is creative, and can engage with both professors, librarians, and students both online and on-campus to drive Westlaw preference and usage.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Student Brand Ambassador, you will:

  • Educate law students on why Westlaw is the number one research solution.
  • Effectively utilize social media to increase awareness of Westlaw's brand, events, and classes
  • Drive brand marketing by being highly approachable and influencing large target audiences
  • Build professional working relationships with your legal writing program, library, and school administrators
  • Develop strategic partnerships to assist students with research assignments
  • Maintain current knowledge of campus events and activities

About You

You're a fit for the role of Student Brand Ambassador if you have:

  • Current student at the specific school of Law, in good standing
  • Encompass a creative mindset, working independently with a high sense of responsibility and initiative
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills, is creative, and can engage with students, professors, and librarians
  • An ability to build and leverage social media networks to drive student engagement. An existing social media presence on multiple platforms is a plus
  • Proficient level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • An understanding of legal research and the application of online legal research tools
  • Willingness to expertly learn Westlaw and other Thomson Reuters products
  • Leadership experience and campus involvement preferred (sports, clubs, organizations)

The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $10 - $25. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
