Position description

The UCI Paul Merage School of Business is currently accepting applications for academics wishing to visit in the 2025-2026 academic year starting as early as on January 1, 2025. This is a one-year position, renewable for a second year.

You will be expected to be able to teach across all programs (undergraduate, masters and doctoral), some of which may occur at night and/or on weekends, including summers. You may be asked to develop an on-line or hybrid course consistent with the School's objectives and teaching needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Ph.D. in Information Systems, or other relevant discipline is required. We are seeking individuals with a commitment to excellence in research and teaching, related to AI, data analytics or Information Systems. Prior teaching experience is desirable.

The Information Systems faculty have long been recognized for their research and scholarship. The School places its Ph.D. student graduates in the best research universities, and its MBA and MSBA programs are highly ranked.

About the Paul Merage School of Business

The successful candidate will join a dynamic business school located in the heart of Southern California's thriving business community. The Merage Full-Time MBA program is ranked #27 in the US by the Financial Times. New hires will have opportunities to teach across a multitude of programs (undergraduate, graduate), both night and/or on weekends, including summers. Successful candidates may be expected to develop on-line or hybrid courses consistent with the School's objectives and teaching needs.

SALARY:

The salary range for this position is $78,200-$101,400. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table T1.
