Production Supervisor
Your role and responsibilities
This role will support the business in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes within manufacturing. Employees will correctly and safely use machinery and equipment on the shop floor, read and interpret the technical diagrams & instructions for the fabrication of components used in the assembly of products, systems, and panels. Adhere to all safety requirements and company policies. Fabricates raw steel/copper to produce a finished product to the internal/external customer expectations. Reads blueprints or similar documentation, then fabricates components to those specifications. Uses various machines (Automated and/or Manual) to accomplish assigned tasks. Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies. Performs equipment preventative maintenance and performs basic repairs when needed. Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; reports need to supervisor as required. Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the role
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years' experience operating automated punches, lasers, or robotic/NC press brakes in a fabrication department. Trumpf, Salvagnini, Amada, Cincinnati, and Ehrt brands preferred.
- Ability to use and interpret inspection tools - tape measure, calipers, and protractor
- Ability to read and interpret engineering bill of materials, machining drawings and models.
- Knowledge of 6S - sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, and safety
- 3+ years' experience operating automated punches, lasers, or robotic/NC press brakes in a fabrication department. Trumpf, Salvagnini, Amada, Cincinnati, and Ehrt brands preferred.
- Advanced analytical skills to enhance problem solving
- Advanced computer skills, mathematical skills, and communication skills
- Experience training others to operate fabrication equipment.

- Ability to use cranes, fork trucks, or other lifting devices, as needed
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English Language and good communication skills.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out basic instructions
- Basic computer and mathematical skills
- Hand, eye coordination skills and use of both hands
