Here is what you will be doing each day: As a Spa Massage Therapist, your role involves delivering professional, therapeutic, and rejuvenating massage therapies and body treatments to spa guests while actively contributing to the team's productivity. Effective communication skills are essential, along with maintaining a consistently professional demeanor and appearance. You should excel in guest interactions, promptly identifying and resolving any issues that arise. Flexibility and a willingness to assist colleagues as needed are crucial, demonstrating a strong team-oriented approach. Building and maintaining positive relationships with associates and guests is key. Certification or licensing at the local and/or state level is required, with a preference for candidates who have completed a minimum of 200 hours of massage education and possess at least two years of professional experience. For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $16.00 per hour; for applicants who will be working in New York, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $16.00 per hour.
