POSITION SUMMARY:

Act as an SME for all dynamics testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Often acts as a facilitator and team leader
  • Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Makes recommendations for new procedures
  • Test Design - Provides SME support to Engineers to help design test procedures and specifications.
  • Perform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, document all pertinent data. Often mentors less experienced Technicians in the process.
  • Data Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program Manager
  • Lab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, organizing supplies

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Dynamics field or other similar role
  • Able to use all standard and complex Dynamics equipment
  • Able to accurately capture necessary data
  • Basic MS Office Skills
  • Strong Mathematical Skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Test lab with exposure to sudden, loud noises

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
