QPS Employment Group is hiring a Director of Professional Sales to join our Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions team to sell Engineering staffing services in Chicago Metropolitan Area. This person will be responsible for building the Accelerate brand through business development, client expansion and manage a team of Account Executives. Motivates and engages staff to achieve business unit sales strategy and activities while providing a positive experience for our internal employees, associate employees, and customers. Partner with SVP of Professional for the identification and executing on marketing opportunities to expand company's reach in their defined geographical area. What you'll be doing:
  • Executes and participates in the overall sales strategy for their assigned geographical area, including forecasting
  • Provides direction, training, coaching and guidance to assigned sales team
  • Work with regional leaders and QPS sales team as needed in order to expand the Accelerate brand and market share.
  • Builds and promotes strong, long-lasting customer partnerships, including deep-selling Accelerate services
  • Updates job/industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks
  • Performs full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, feedback sessions including coaching and development, planning, promoting our company belief system, assigning and directing work; EEO; performance management; budgeting
  • Maintains and expands customer base by working with sales team, building and maintaining key customers, identifies new customer opportunities, attends and/or organizes customer and networking events
  • Resolves or escalates servicing requests, customer issues, including collection conversations
  • Participates in customer visits, tours of customer sites with the safety team and/or Branch Management
  • Director of sales will be responsible for selling and building a geographical territory
What you'll need:
  • 5 -7 years of related Staffing or Solutions Sales experience
  • Selling, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced business environment
  • Highly self-motivated to exceed sales quotas by closing new business
  • Valid Driver's license, auto insurance, and vehicle required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
