Description

The Senior Interface Architect will oversee the management and maintenance of system integrations within the HR/Finance system and middleware architecture. This role involves providing support for Workday inbound and outbound integrations, incident management, and integration monitoring. The manager will ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, and problem resolution.

The Senior Interface Architect is responsible for setting the technical direction, establishing best practices, and overseeing the successful implementation of mission-critical interfaces. Plays a pivotal role in enabling seamless data exchange, driving innovation, and achieving optimal performance for our integrated healthcare systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Information Technology (Required) or relevant experience in interface architecture beyond the minimum required work experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a 1-1 ratio i.e. one year of relevant work experience equals one year of required education.

Minimum Work Experience
5 years' experience in interface architecture and programming. (Required)

Extensive proficiency in relevant interface technologies and tools.

Functional Accountabilities



  • Manage all aspects of interface projects and work closely with the internal department teams on status, issues and communications.


  • Define business specifications with the Children's National user community for the deployment of new and enhanced interfaces.


  • Map standard interface functionality to business specifications.


  • Manage interface definition and configuration along with business process teams.


  • Manage all aspects of interface rollout and coordination with department teams.


  • Define specifications for data interfaces between applications for product rollouts.


  • Resolve interface issues reported from user acceptance testing.


  • Provide technical support for implemented interfaces; diagnosing and reporting defects, applying patches and upgrades as needed.


  • Coordinate with functional departments and IR team members involved to collect system specifications, techniques, and controls.


  • Interact with senior management within the department and business units.
