Jefferson College of Nursing (JCN) seeks a Director for the PhD in Nursing Program who qualifies for the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor of Nursing and shares a commitment to the mission, vision and values of Thomas Jefferson University and JCN. The mission of the JCN PhD Program is to prepare scientists and scholars who make substantive contributions to nursing knowledge that improves the lives of diverse individuals, families, communities, and populations. The PhD Program Director is a 12-month full-time position and reports directly to the Associate Dean for Research and Global Engagement. The PhD Program Director is responsible for the leadership, operations and excellence of the PhD in Nursing Program at JCN.Courses are primarily delivered in a synchronous online format with at least one selected on-campus experience each year. Specific responsibilities of the position include:
