Cloud Release Manager, Senior

The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a Cloud release manager, you know how to take advantage of Cloud capabilities. On our team of experienced professionals, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise Cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their information technology (IT) infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We're looking for someone like you to help modernize Army systems.

You'll closely collaborate with Cloud architects, engineers, product stakeholders, and project managers specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support, deploy, and optimize Cloud solution components. You'll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to manage and deploy container applications and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. You'll explore different ways of solving our clients' problems, and you'll partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with supporting operations and maintenance for secure information management systems

• Experience with coordinating release activities across internal and external stakeholders

• Experience with Linux Operating Systems and command-line interfaces

• Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Ansible, or YAML

• Experience with Amazon Web Services

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• Ability to obtain DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification within 90 days of hire

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of Agile frameworks and Jira

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, to communicate cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal environments

• Possession of excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Possession of excellent organizational skills, including tracking multiple releases simultaneously

• TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
