Summary
Monitors logistics activities required for the timely and efficient payment to carriers and billing of customers. Runs daily reports to review invoices that fail agreed to cost tolerances related to AP/AR. Responsible for resolving AP/AR issues through root cause analysis and recommendations for resolution involving Carrier Operations, Quality, Customer Service and Carriers. Utilizes an internal Transportation Management System (IT software for receiving invoices from carriers), manual processes and other systems to enable the monitoring of the billing of customers and payment to carriers. Develops standardized cadences with carriers to review aging reports and drive to resolution.
Essential Functions

* Ensures all accessorial charges have been approved via all standardized processes prior to invoicing whether manually or electronically.
* Executes daily reporting that identifies carrier invoices that have failed agreed to cost tolerance levels; drives to resolution and determines root cause to prevent future failures.
* Determines an agreed to cadence with carrier/customer base to review AP/AR aging schedules and drives to timely resolution.
* Keeps internal stakeholders aware of AP/AR current state, issues, resolution plans thru metrics and updates.
* Understands key business terms, lines of business, suppliers, and customers.
* Develops carrier relationships and contacts at multiple levels-especially related to AP/AR.
* Collaborates with Carrier Operations and carriers to develop performance improvement plans and invoicing.
* Gathers data and make recommendations for improvement or root cause analysis on problems/opportunities that are straightforward.
* Works in collaboration with Carrier Operation, and Customer Service to drive compliance to standardized processes: such as but not limited to, accessorial approvals, customer and carrier training of processes.
* Responsible for developing and the timely reporting of invoice accuracy to the Carrier Operations and Customer Service Team.
* Collaborates daily with other Quality team members, Customer Service and Carrier Operations to drive out inefficiencies and identify areas for improvement.
* Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
* Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate and 4 years of Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate and 3 years of G3 Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
* Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel at a basic level.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience managing carriers/customers AP/AR via an IT based model (TMS).
* Experiencing in using score cards and other analytical tools to manage performance and problem solve.
* Strong customer relations skills with all levels of customers both internally and externally.

Compensation
- Hiring Hourly Rate: $26.63 - $33.27.
- Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
