Job SummaryThe Senior Medicare Client Manager is responsible for the overall relationship with the client, starting at implementation and continuing through everyday problem resolution and renewal activities. The Senior Medicare Client Manager will work directly with sales executives during finalist presentations and may be asked to present to potential clients. They maintain senior management level contact with the Benefits, Human Resources, and Financial staff of the client. The Senior Medicare Client Manager is also responsible for the service delivery of Health Benefits products and services that ensure client satisfaction. Senior Medicare Client Managers may have some internal project participation. Senior Medicare Client Managers are charged with retaining and growing their assigned book of business, but also supporting their Regional Team as needed. Senior Medicare Client Managers are responsible for mentoring and supporting other client managers on their team, as discussed and reviewed by the Senior Director of Client Management.
Senior Client Managers may be designated as Coach/Mentors. Senior Client Managers with Coach/Mentor designations will have fewer clients assigned to them so as to allow for coach/mentor responsibilities as outlined below.

** This role is based remotely, however candidates must live in one the following states: IL, IN, IA, KS, MO, NC, NM, OK, PA, TX or WI **

Required Job Qualifications:
  • 5 years previous experience within Medicare Client Management and/or experience in a similar TPA or insurance environment with client facing/client support responsibilities

  • Pennsylvania State insurance license required or obtained within 90 days from date of hire

  • Results oriented and self-motivated

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as are exceptional organizational skills

  • Ability to interact with senior level executives

  • Thorough understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans; stop loss understanding a plus

  • Knowledge and understanding of benefit-related federal laws (i.e., ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, PPACA, etc.)

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Analytical skills, problem solving skills, reading ability, creative decision-making skills, the ability to comprehend and follow instructions, mathematical ability and time management skills are required

  • Ability to assess and mentor team members to maximize team success and growth

  • Ability to travel is required

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of directly related industry experience

  • Client Management experience

The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Min to Max Range:

$74,400.00 - $139,700.00
