As Web Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to analyze and optimize our web traffic and content performance. With a deep understanding of how content influences customer behavior, you'll provide actionable insights that drive our content strategy, enhance user experience, and ultimately improve customer outcomes.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in New York City for our hybrid working model.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analytics Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive web and content analytics strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives
  • Data Analysis: Analyze website performance, content effectiveness, and user engagement metrics using tools such as Amplitude, Adobe Analytics, and other relevant platforms
  • Content Impact Assessment: Measure and evaluate how different types of content influence customer behavior and outcomes. Provide insights into content performance and its impact on lead generation, conversion rates, and customer retention
  • Reporting: Create and present detailed reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and actionable insights. Communicate findings to stakeholders and recommend strategies for optimization
  • A/B Testing: Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to determine the effectiveness of content and web design changes. Use results to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the content, marketing, and web development teams to ensure that analytics insights are integrated into content creation and web optimization efforts
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web and content analytics. Recommend and implement new tools and techniques to enhance analytics capabilities
  • Team Management: Grow your team of analysts in both scope of work and level of influence


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in web analytics, content analytics, or a related field with at least 1 year experience managing a team (B2B environment preferred)
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL, web analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Adobe Analytics), content management systems (CMS), and A/B testing platforms (Optimizely/Intellimize). Strong understanding of SEO/SEM best practices
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Experience in measuring content performance and its impact on customer behavior
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in analytics is a plus

MongoDB's base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB's total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

$112,000 $220,000 USD
