This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-liftorbital launch vehicle capable ofroutinelycarrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar,and beyond.Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designedfrom the beginningto be human-capable.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, technicians, and specialists, you will be responsible for all aspects of planning, scheduling, and aligning the daily activities of New Glenn Launch Operations at Launch Complex 36. This coordination ensures the development, test, and mission plans aligns to the program and customer milestones. You will collaborate with all aspects of each Launch Operations group, Facilities, Inventory, Project Managers, and Operations Control to ensure required resources are available and deconflicted to support execution of the required work.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages scope of work ensuring maintenance, integration, and detailed schedules for all operations at Launch Complex 36. Provides management detailed information to ensure scheduled completion dates align with assigned resource capacities across the pad.

  • When schedule recovery is necessary, identifies and analyzes solutions and bottlenecks, including forward and reverse scheduling methods. What-If analysis provided to management as required.

  • Works closely with all Launch Operations teams to determine resource / labor hours needed and schedules work accordingly.

  • Coordinates interdepartmental activity with all groups operating at the pad, to include contracted work, to ensure all operations and customer specifications are achieved and schedules are accurate.

  • Monitors status and provides regular updates to management on upcoming operations priorities.

  • Updates visual management charts with current program status.

  • Performs schedule and scope variance analysis and reviews LC-36 operations execution.

  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation and judgement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in business, finance, project management, or another related field.

  • 2+ years of planning and scheduling experience, especially within an aerospace environment.

  • Experience in developing or maintaining resource-loaded schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera (P6), or other scheduling software.

  • Experience using and managing ERP/MRP systems.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and acumen to collaborate across various personnel and management.

  • Experience identifying, managing, and actioning risks, issues, and opportunities.

  • Able to work full time schedule, including occasional travel, overtime, or on-call work.

  • Must be able to pass the security background check to work at federal reservations.

  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Planning and scheduling experience for aerospace integration, space launch, and/or test operations.

  • Expert Microsoft Project skills and Project Server experience.

  • Experience working in new programs / new product introduction.

  • Proven record of hands-on development and implementation of company-wide process improvements.

  • Project Management certification (PMP/Certified Project Manager).

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
