Job Summary:

This faculty position is available in the Pharmacy Practice and Translational Research Division of the School of Pharmacy. The successful candidate will establish a sustained program of publishable scholarly work that is complementary to the individual's expertise and will teach and coordinate in the School's Doctor of Pharmacy program pursuant to needs of the Division and candidate's expertise/interests. Teaching and research/scholarship collaborations across other biomedical and health science schools on campus and within Wisconsin is possible and encouraged. Responsibilities:

Teaching within the School's Doctor of Pharmacy program will include classroom instruction in practice-related courses.

The individual will advance the research and scholarship mission of the School of Pharmacy. It is expected that the faculty member will develop an independent research program in their area of expertise and establish collaborations leading to a sustained program of publishable scholarly work.

The development of a clinical practice (4-8 hours per week) that is complementary to the individual's area of expertise and research/scholarship is expected. Clinical practice may be broadly defined and may include opportunities throughout the continuum of cancer care.

The individual will serve as a member of school committees/working groups as required and/or requested.

Terminal Degree
Candidates must have a Pharm.D. or equivalent terminal degree.


Qualifications:

Required

-Postgraduate year two pharmacy residency (PGY2), PhD training, fellowship or equivalent clinical or academic experience

Appointment as Associate Professor (CHS) will require candidate's credentials to meet criteria for rank at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy.

Preferred

-Record of research leading to peer-reviewed publications
-Prior teaching, mentoring, or precepting experience

Preference will be given to individuals with expertise and/or research interests in oncology. This may include, but is not limited to: precision medicine, immunotherapy, pharmacotherapeutic outcomes and/or informatics.


License/Certification:

Required
Wisconsin Pharmacist Licensure
Must be eligible for Wisconsin licensure as a pharmacist.

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
