PRN

Job Description:

• A dynamic PRN patient education position focused on diabetes education.
• Provides consultative education in a variety of settings, work inan established ADA Recognized facility with a multidisciplinary team providing services for Type 1, Type 2, Gestational diabetes and pre-diabetes populations.
• Uses different educational methods to engage patients in lifestyle changes and diabetes self management tasks.
• Activities also exist for community education, staff education, projects, data analysis, and quality improvement tasks.
• Provides coverage for department and staff needs. Shares responsibilities with a team of RNs.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse, BSN
• Kentucky RN License
• Minimum of two years experience in nursing
• CDCES within six months
