This Clinical Instructor (part-time) for Herzing's online division pre-licensure BSN & MSN - Direct Entry Programs. This position must reside in NC or SC and will be required to travel to clinical sites and/or intensive experiences. The schedule for this role is most commonly 12-hour rotations (7:00a-7:00p or 7:00p-7:00a).

Qualifications:



  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required to teach MSN Direct Entry program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required to teach pre-licensure BSN program
  • Recent experience in hospital or clinical setting
  • Unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in a compact state, with preference for qualified applicants living in the following states: Alabama, Florida (Orlando and Tampa regions only), Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina and South Dakota, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.


Preferred:



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a graduate nursing program/online nursing environment
  • Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing preferred
