The Educational Talent Search (ETS) Assistant Director (AD) is responsible for the management and implementation of all aspects of the Educational Talent Search Grant Program. The AD will provide pre-college services to at least 592 participant and their parents at five high schools in San Bernardo County. Responsibilities includes conceptualization, development and implementation of program services described in grant objectives. The AD will provide advising, supervision and instruction to high school student participants to help them develop academic skills which will enable them to be admitted and successfully graduate from a 4-year university. The AD will be responsible for the collection of information and tracking of program services provided to participants for the annual performance report. Will provide assistance to the Director in making decisions regarding allocations of funds for implementation of grant objectives. This is a grant funded position and it is in year 4 of 5 of the current grant and may be extended based on funding and project needs.

The salary range for the Educational Talent Search Assistant Director position is $56,000 - $96,400 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $59,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
