Join our team and help bring new talent into education publishing. The Recruiting Coordinator provides administrative support to the Macmillan Learning Talent Acquisition (TA) team in a variety of areas including administrative support, full-cycle recruiting, new hire orientation, project management, creating presentations, and process improvement. The Coordinator collaborates in attracting candidates and increasing brand awareness in the marketplace, helping ensure efficiency and equity in internal and candidate-facing processes. The Coordinator assists in building a pipeline of diverse, qualified candidates and assists in implementing strategies to make the talent acquisition process more engaging and appealing for candidates.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team with the end-to-end recruitment process; post job ads, and onboard new hires.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to schedule interviews.
  • Help with various recruiting projects; build resources for internal employees, document processes, etc.
  • Work with external vendors to post roles, and organize and review candidate responses.
  • Handle and prioritize multiple ranges of administrative duties with independent judgment and initiative.
  • Ensure that all correspondence and documents are saved correctly on our HR Shared Drives.


Essential Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ year of professional administrative experience + customer service experience
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, including ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Experience communicating complex process information verbally, in writing, and in presentation to diverse audiences
  • Experience working in a team environment, especially a distributed or remote team
  • Experience building strong relationships at different levels within an organization
  • Ability to build productive relationships within the Macmillan network and in the marketplace
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple ranges of administrative duties requiring independent judgment and initiative


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with diversity recruitment sourcing, implementation, and strategy
  • Experience in a Customer-Facing role
  • Experience in education or publishing industries


Annual Salary Range: $47,000 - $55,000

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

Physical Requirements:

Position requires long periods of close concentration and multi-tasking in noisy/busy open office environment. Must be able to travel on rare occasions (up to 5% of the time) for team meetings, job fairs, etc. Must be able to work overtime, more than 40 hours a week, as needed.

Ideal candidates will be located in or near the Hamilton, NJ or Austin, Texas areas. This is a hybrid role. 1-2 days a week are required in either the Hamilton, NJ or Austin, Texas office.
