The School is regarded for its strong commitment to both R1-level scholarship and to our tradition of community-engaged research partnerships. We welcome applications from scholars across methodological traditions, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods, and community-based participatory research.

Successful applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Social Work or a related discipline. Applicants should have strong methodological training, outstanding research achievements, potential for publication in high-impact journals, and excellent teaching and communication skills. We are dedicated to ensuring a diverse and inclusive faculty environment and especially welcome applicants from underrepresented groups. Faculty who join us will have the opportunity to work in one of the most diverse states in the nation and with a student body that represents a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and identities.
