Start your engineering career with Dynamic Ratings and help facilitate the electrical power grid's evolution to new power sources and changes in demand. Help our field service team provide utilities with the condition information on their high voltage electrical equipment needed to maintain reliability, reduce cost, and increase capacity.

Intern Responsibilities

As an Intern you will support our Field Service Engineering team who install Dynamic Ratings' equipment for our customers.

Some responsibilities include:


  • Supporting installation, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems.
  • Assisting engineers in preparing equipment documentation/drawings.
  • Data management and analysis.
  • Firmware and equipment testing.



Intern Requirements

The ideal candidate will enjoy a team environment and be flexible enough to work independently where needed. You should be eager to learn and interested in expanding your knowledge and hands on experience by challenging yourself and using the resources around you. Additional job requirements include:


  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Associates degree, or Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronic Systems Technology, or Journeyman Wireman .
  • Proven ability to adapt and apply engineering principles to solve technical problems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Position is onsite in Sussex, WI; relocation is not available.
