Summary:

Applied Training Solutions (ATS) is currently seeking a seasoned Network Administrator with a strong background in IT and computing services, particularly within the context of Pre-Exercise Preparation and Exercise Execution support. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or an Associate's degree from a 2-year technical school, complemented by a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience for associate degree holders or 5+ years for those with a BA/BS. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust understanding of network administration, hardware, and software systems, and have a proven track record of managing and optimizing IT infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the seamless operation and security of our systems, participating in comprehensive end-to-end communications exercises (COMEX), clearing systems of data post-exercise, and restoring systems to their baseline status, among other responsibilities.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of providing critical IT and computing services during the execution of exercises, playing a key role in supporting the operational mission and interests as required. Your responsibilities will include offering subject matter expertise for exercise control, data, and event integration across all Intelligence Warfighting Function disciplines. Additionally, you will engage directly with students and Exercise Trainers, responding to Intelligence Requests for Information (RFIs), assisting in the development of events to support learning objectives, and creating "on-the-fly" message traffic to enhance the training experience.

Furthermore, your role extends to providing simulation and synchronization support to Capstone exercises, ensuring the stimulation of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. You will be responsible for the timeline synchronization of scenario events and the generation of supplementary scripted message traffic to meet training requirements. Your daily duties will include releasing message traffic to end-users, conducting system operation checks, and providing technical troubleshooting support. Job Duties:

Under general supervision, designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design. Competent to work on most phases of database administration, but may require some instruction and guidance in other phases.
