Job Summary:

Partners with an Enterprise Architect or Solution Architect, working across organizations to drive common approaches that solve business challenges with technology. Creates architecture frameworks which maps business strategy to process improvement and business capability improvements needed to meet the business's strategic goals.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Enterprise Architecture team with thought leadership and guidance around technology and business process solutions
  • Support SAP COE with functional, technical and architecture guidance in project planning and execution.
  • Build current state and potential future state architecture designs. Maintains central repository of end-to-end process maps
  • Manage Technical architecture analysis, research, design and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP or other ERP systems
  • Creates process maps and landscapes from information gathered
  • Help and review with the creation of training, product, and solution documentation
  • Performing integration architecture and infrastructure design activities
  • Participating in resolving technology integration problems
  • Identifies opportunities to make changes in the process to eliminate outages, reduce waste, improve process and execution efficiencies, and improve communication across the organization.
  • Collaborates with other IT groups and business partners to identify and sequence business capability improvements. Partners with the business to evaluate business goals, identify business problems, and propose solutions.
  • Assess customer's current state, business goals and challenges, capabilities and existing IT investments by leading the planning and prioritization of strategic IT initiatives with customer sponsorship.
  • Develops and maintains centralized capability repository and end to end process maps.
  • Performs market analysis and solution assessment to define new standards.
  • Provides special services upon request to Business and Enterprise Technology groups.
  • Support Enterprise Architecture team members in anyway as required in their initiatives

Education and Experience Requirements

Pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, business management or information systems management at an accredited school.

Skills and Abilities

  • Classwork or practical experience around Software design, development & testing
  • Ability to understand end-to-end business process and of the existing technology landscape.
  • Ability to collaborate developing thought leadership work products such as strategies and roadmaps.
  • Ability to understand the needs of non-technical customers
  • Interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Willingness to take on any assignment regardless of complexity or in a technology area without previous experience in
  • Problem-solving skills. Ability to solve difficult problems using logic and methodology to derive the optimal solution. Ability to understand complex concepts and corresponding relationships of the problem.
  • Self-starter with willingness to learn new tools in an international environment
  • An enthusiastic technologist who loves to learn new things
