Job Summary The director of patient safety will promote a culture of safety and high reliability through Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital by providing leadership and oversight for the patient safety programs as well as team members who are leading these programs. The director of patient safety will support the development and execution of the organizational operational plan through the implementation of strategy, policy, direction and action plans while managing the day-to-day operations of the patient safety department. Additionally, a major responsibility of the director of patient safety is the coordination of the many patient safety initiatives undertaken by various interdisciplinary teams within the Hospital and Johns Hopkins Health System.
