Overview

Ferrellgas is actively seeking a Salesforce Developer to join the team. This position is responsible for building and maintaining the Salesforce platform and empowering team members to gain efficiency and make data driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and customizes Sales and Service Cloud platforms within the Lightning Experience UI.
  • Designs and deploys consistent and reliable LWC, APEX triggers and classes, and Visualforce pages.
  • Writes and deploys test code coverage, maintaining code coverage in compliance with the SFDC Best Practices.
  • Un-deploys retired code.
  • Identifies bugs and aligns with requirements during debugging.
  • Designs and implements declarative automation using Approval Process, and Lightning Flow (primary responsibility).
  • Extensive experience with SOQL and SOSL
  • Responsible for user support including tasks that include data loads, list view manipulation, report creation and break/fix.
  • Manages all work through Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Documents newly implemented processes and customization on Confluence.
  • Takes ownership of project work and develops client relationships (an active self-starter).
  • Conducts ad hoc data and configuration analysis, at request, provides insights and recommendations for innovative improvements.
  • Periodically assesses existing processes to find and implement new efficiencies.
  • Continues ongoing pursuit of platform and industry knowledge.
  • Coordinates and changes management (release) process to develop and implement new features and updates to existing functionality.
  • Provides third tier support for new and existing Salesforce user base regarding questions and issues in Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, and related vehicle hardware and software.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years' Salesforce administration experience.
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM-211), and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer (DEV-401) preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with an issue tracking application and utilizing an agile project management methodology.
  • Project management and organization abilities, with an ability to initiate and execute complex, cross-functional projects with minimal guidance.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
