Crisdel Group, Inc. is seeking a Loader Operator to join our expanding Fort Myers Team.
Tasks & Responsibilities
These tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Performing daily safety and maintenance checks, greasing the equipment, operating the equipment in a safe and efficient manner, participating in daily "light" routine maintenance, ensuring the equipment is safely and securely stored at the end of the shift and cleaning the equipment.
- All employees shall commit to Crisdel's team effort driven process by contributing to the safe and successful completion of the work assigned to them by their foreman.
- Work safely while adhering to Crisdel's Safety Program & Guidelines as well as adhering to all federal, state and local rules and regulations.
- Adhere to the guidelines set forth in Crisdel's Employment Handbook.
- Work with pride, integrity and honor in an ethical manner which promotes Crisdel in a superior manner.
- Maintain a positive working relationship between co-workers and employees of subcontractors, vendors, inspectors and agency individuals working on a Crisdel job site.
- Work in a productive and efficient manner while maintaining the highest level of quality work.
- Be self-motivated and ambitious.
- Be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Report to work on time, take meal breaks only during the allocated time periods and report back to work until the end of the designated shift.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate GPS finish dozer on slopes and subgrade to support high production excavation and embankment
- Minimum 2 years of operating experience
- Demonstrated safe and proficient operation of equipment in a variety of work environments
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Be 18 years in age or older
- Must have and maintain a current driver's license that meets state requirements (CDL preferred, but not required.)
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire; and
- Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) drug screen and motor vehicle records check; a criminal background check will also be conducted.
- Physical demands of this position include, but are not limited to: sitting, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, bending, trunk movements, lifting a minimum of 45 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, dexterity of utilizing hands and fingers, seeing (close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception), hearing and speaking.
Typical Work Conditions
- Typical work conditions include working outside on a construction site and/or roadway project while being exposed to heat, noise, vibration and varying weather conditions. Depending on the schedule of an individual project, work may be required during the day, at night or on weekends.
