As a Senior Digital HW Engineer you will be performing high value-adding tasks having a direct impact on Nokia business and key customers. You'll be contributing to Nokia Base stations base band Hardware root cause analysis and debugging activities together with other professional team members.

As part of the team, you will:

  • Senior Digital engineering for continuous Red tag & debug/HW test support
  • Base band HW RCA & verification
  • Participation of technical projects against agreed program targets that contribute to efficiency and improvement in systems, processes and tools in functional, region or local operation
  • Support project execution performance with respect to financial and operational KPIs such as cost, timelines, revenue, project assets, and customer satisfaction
  • Interface with key stakeholders in business area or cross functions
  • Design & customer documentation updating
  • Support project communication
  • Contribute to product usability and serviceability design reviews
  • Supports subcontractor management
  • Support in implementing project quality plan by tracking and monitoring-related activities.
  • Contribute to RCA/EDA works in BB HW product maintenance
  • Participate in product changes like cost reductions evaluation together with other stakeholders
  • End of life component changes
  • Travel: Up to 10%

Location: The candidate must be located in Dallas, Texas

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic or telecommunication engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 4 years' experience with digital and analog electrical design in the telecommunications industry
  • Demonstrated experience with measurement equipment for synchronization and timing (E.g. oscilloscope and other equipment used in digital engineering testing)
  • Knowledge about Product Data Management (PDM) systems like Enovia
  • Understanding of product red tag & debugging processes
  • Knowledge of electrical design and layout tools
  • Mobile Network knowledge or similar
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python) to read schematic designs
  • Good communication and cooperation skills
