The Salvation Army Phoenix Citadel Corps is looking to fill a Nursery Attendant position. The successful candidate for this position will have good verbal and written skills and be able to work with a diversity of people.

The Nursery Attendant will provide safe supervision of the children in the nursery during corps programming. They will make sure each child is properly signed in and signed out the nursery and notify the supervisor if more attendants are needed to maintain proper supervision. This position will supervise snack and meal times, notify the supervisor of unusual incidents and at the end of each session will make sure the nursery is picked-up and trash is taken out.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
