Carnegie Mellon University: Mellon College of Science: Mathematical Sciences Location Pittsburgh, PA Open Date Sep 11, 2024 Description The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for an open rank position to begin September 1, 2025. This search will focus on the area of mathematical finance, broadly construed. The Department has long-standing strength in this area, both in research and education. It plays a leading role in interdisciplinary educational programs in computational finance at the bachelor's and master's levels. The successful candidate will be involved in the governance of the Bachelor of Science in Computational Finance (BSCF) program. Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with research background in stochastics and those who have demonstrated experience in mentoring students.
