LOCATION: REMOTE based in the United States.
This role will support Sourcing for Integrated Lab Management. What your day-to-day will look like: Sourcing & Category Management:Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, capacity, and cost-effectiveness. Responsible for category strategy development, execution, and category performance of all category-related activities. Accountable for creating strategic solutions for specific commodity and service requirements, procurement event planning, RFP/quotation management, bid analysis and recommendations, liaison with internal stakeholders for contract approvals, savings reporting, documentation, and compliance. Rationalizes supply base and develops clear strategic supply partner framework and maintains this framework at the senior supplier level. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing benchmarks, and supplier capabilities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and mutual benefit. Utilize SRM tools to manage relationships with JLL preferred supply base.Procurement: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. Oversee the procurement process, from purchase requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Monitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and address any performance issues proactively. Solutions Development:Develop and implement pricing strategies for products and services, considering market dynamics, competition, and cost structures. Conduct pricing analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and revenue growth. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives. Additional:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sourcing, procurement, and pricing activities. Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to sourcing, procurement, and pricing. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements. What we are looking for: Qualifications: Education:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plus. Experience:7-10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and/or pricing. Experience working within Life Sciences preferred. Experience sourcing and partnering with suppliers for metrology and lab instrumentation. Demonstrated track record of successful negotiations and cost savings. Experience with contract management and supplier relationship management.Ability to develop category plans with the ability to provide visibility such as supplier summaries, stakeholder engagement plans, contract summaries, and market insights that lead to both short and long-term strategies. Experience leading the development and execution of all sourcing-related functions- performing due diligence and assessment of prospective suppliers, executing RFPs/bids, negotiating contracts, and ensuring effective transition to operations during implementation. Skills & Abilities:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in procurement/ERP systems. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. |
