Responsibilities

About the Job:

You will join our team for a 3-month project in data converter circuit design aimed at future products. You will get experience with the tools, skills, insights and tradeoffs necessary for successful integrated circuit design. Keysight fosters a collaborative engineering environment which emphasizes teamwork, mentoring, enthusiasm, and excellence in design.

About the Team:

Our Keysight Labs team develops (and often publishes) world's-fastest data converters and other mixed-signal integrated circuits. Our chips provide the speed and accuracy performance that enable many of Keysight's world-leading electronic test and measurement products.

Responsibilities:

You will do design and simulation of data converter circuits. Design may be at the block or circuit level, and simulation may include circuit simulation, electromagnetic simulation, and/or high-level custom software simulation.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a MS or PhD EE program
  • Strong skills in transistor-level design of mixed signal CMOS and/or BiCMOS circuits
  • Familiar with schematic entry / layout / simulation tool flow (preferably Cadence)
  • Familiar with the use of one or more software scripting tools to support design, such as Bash, Python, PERL, Awk or SKILL

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-speed designs (> 1 GHz)
  • Experience in data converter calibration and analysis
  • Good communication and collaboration skills

Other Information:

  • Right to work in the US is required.
  • This position requires access to technical data regulated under export controls by the U.S Government. If an export license is required, employment may not commence until such license is received.
  • Relocation is not available for this position.

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2024. Applicants who have graduated before September 2024 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.

California Pay Range: $57.50 - $65.71

Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
