We have an exciting opportunity for aIntern - Industrial Engineerlocated in Appleton, WI . How You Will Contribute: As an Intern within the Operations team, you will use your foundation in lean principles and engineering to implement, research and develop new processes and equipment to keep Ahern on the leading edge. You will get real life experience changing processes and implementing process improvements in our fabrication shops under the mentorship of an experienced engineer. Apply engineering standards and procedures to review and implement lean projects that improve how we process work through our production shops. You will also contribute to larger-scale projects that will bring meaningful change to Ahern. This is an exciting opportunity to be very instrumental in the success of our fabrication shops. Hours: Intern will work full-time, 40 hours during Summer 2025 and if possible continue working hours during the school year. What you need to qualify: Intern candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering program. Must be comfortable working in MS Office programs and passionate about deepening knowledge of mechanical systems. What's in it for you?
