Position Description:
The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a dynamic and innovative digital marketing professional to serve as a Senior Consultant of Digital Marketing and Strategy - Philanthropy. This role is a key member of the MCW Office of Communications and Brand Strategy (OOC) in partnership with the Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) and Alumni Relations who collaborates with colleagues at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Froedtert Hospital to execute and manage the philanthropy digital marketing and engagement strategies to drive and support the overall philanthropy strategic plan. As one of the country's premier health science leaders, MCW is known for outstanding clinical care, groundbreaking research, comprehensive medical education and impactful community engagement. You will be joining the MCW and Froedtert Hospital philanthropy team at a critical time of significant growth opportunity to promote and optimize the healthof the community in the Milwaukee area, and across the state. This role will serve as a member of the forward-thinking marketing and communications team. Specifically, this position will play a role in shaping and executing the marketing technology roadmap, fostering innovation, and driving the integration of cutting-edge technologies to optimize philanthropy marketing efforts. A deep understanding of marketing technologies, data analytics, and process optimization is required to support the integration of technology and data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and impact. This opportunity offers flexibility with a hybrid role offering work from home options while being within driving distance of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee County, WI. Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for development of the digital ecosystem to drive philanthropy engagements
- Execute strategy for website/microsite philanthropy engagements and user experience
- Ensure web and digital on-brand design, and connected digital systems to drive philanthropic engagement and donor support
- Accountable for online experience for benefactors, new donors and alumni to donate, develop planned giving opportunities, communicate with gift officers, and more
- Close collaboration and leadership of cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Information Systems (IS), philanthropy, alumni engagement and clinical teams, to create and implement transformative marketing initiatives that enhance the brand, engage audiences, and drive business growth
- Align the marketing digital engagement vision with campaign and donor experience goals, ensuring a seamless benefactor/donor-centered approach, while working closely with stakeholders
- Set and achieve effective measurable goals and key performance indicators
- Actively partner with the Office of Communications in the development of digital strategy and aligning with institutional guidelines and systems
- Executes on search engine optimization, online transactions and high-value action conversions for donors and how these integrate with MCW enterprise

- Proven track record of executing digital strategies in complex and competitive environments. Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Seasoned marketing professional with digital experience and outstanding communications skills and previous philanthropy marketing communications experience preferred.
- Able to thrive in a matrix environment to collaborate with other leaders within the system, especially with IS, marketing communications leaders and philanthropy colleagues
- Experience in or working knowledge of customer lifecycle strategies and management
- Thorough knowledge of current and emerging marketing trends and best practices, including new and emerging strategies and technologies
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and time management skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments, prioritize assignments, handle multiple projects and details simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent information architecture, user experience, digital design, digital production, search engine optimization and marketing, and online brand management experience
- Expert in content management systems administration, agile development, Google Analytics, search engine marketing, site search and W3C accessibility standards. Proven analytical, critical thinking, creative and technical abilities.
- Experience executing digital strategies, conducting, and acting upon findings from user-experience testing and making data-driven decisions. Working knowledge of HTML and demonstrated expertise in search engine optimization.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely and to maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, peer managers and co-workers
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing marketing automation platforms, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and analytics tools (Almabase, Raisers Edge, Sitecore)
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, compliance and data security standards and evolving landscape
- Strong analytics skills and experience with ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights and reporting Creative problem solver with a strategic mindset and a results-oriented approach. Strong skills in strategic planning, effectively organizing resources and setting and establishing priorities
- Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager

Minimum Qualifications: Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis. Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree Minimum experience: 7 years of experience - preferably in digital marketing or marketing operations positions, including experience with marketing technology strategy and implementation, developing, tracking and reporting on key performance indicators Preferred Qualifications:
