*Registered Apprenticeship Program Criteria: Program must have a documented process for hours worked in the field in the work processes associated with the craft e.g. distribution, transmission, maintenance, etc.Registered apprenticeship programs for the trades in question require 7,000 - 10,000 hours (3 -5 years).Program must have documented proof of completion of related education classroom courses.Registered apprenticeship programs require a minimum of 144 hours per year of related education courses during the course of the apprenticeship program ** Journeyman level experience must be documented in writing if you are unable to provide us a certificate of completion of Registered Apprenticeship.This will require a letter on company letterhead documenting your title, details of your roles and responsibilities, and length of time in that position.It must be signed by an operations or HR manager.This information will be subject to verification. Role Type Plant/FieldRole: Eligibility: Must live or relocate within reasonable distance to the headquarters. Reasonable distance is defined as one (1) hour for Metro and State Region locations. Reasonable distance for Troublemen, Local Representatives, and Substation Technicians is defined as thirty (30) minutes for Metro locations and forty-five (45) minutes for State Region locations.
*This will not apply to Troublemen, Local Representatives or Substation Technicians. CIP Requirement: This position requires Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) access consistent with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) standards. The applicant considered for this role will be required to obtain and maintain CIP access for the duration of employment in this position. A full seven (7) year criminal history will be obtained through the pre-employment background check process (or, for current employees, through supplemental background check process) to fulfill the CIP access requirements. In addition, this position requires an additional background check every seven years to maintain access. |
