Location: Clearwater, FL, with some travel to the New Orleans, LA area. Alternatively, you can be based in the New Orleans area with some travel to Clearwater.

Job Summary: As a Content Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and creative content that elevates the brands, channels, and digital presence of the world's largest pool company. This position leads content development efforts primarily for social media, with additional projects including blog content, email campaigns, and collaborative digital marketing initiatives. Creativity, strategic thinking, and attention to detail will be critical in shaping POOLCORP's brand identity and driving successful marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes creative content strategies for social media, blogs, and emails.
  • Writes compelling, on-brand copy for various digital platforms.
  • Collaborates with teams and agencies to brainstorm and execute creative ideas.
  • Stays updated on social media trends to keep content fresh and effective.
  • Art direct and style social media shoots to ensure brand consistency.
  • Uses Adobe Creative Suite or Canva to create high-quality visual content.
  • Manages multiple projects and meets deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Writing, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva with a strong portfolio.
  • Experience in social media content creation and copywriting.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and best practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Video editing experience is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to brand standards.
