Primary Purpose of Job

Responsible for developing and delivering sales performance enhancing programs, tools, and activities that support the business objectives of Consumer Banking. This role provides business and process expertise for initiatives designed to grow customer relationships. The Sales Performance Program Manager has responsibility for the central oversight and management of key programs involving branch and business partner teammates.

Major Job Accountabilities

  • Identifies relationship expansion opportunities and develops and implements relationship-focused strategic programs to support goal achievement and performance improvement.
  • Operationalizes Retail programs through people implementation, process design, and the use of technology for optimal efficiency.
  • Provides performance coaching to teammates as needed to drive high performance.
  • Delivers workshops to ensure teammate readiness when participating in key activities and utilizing new tools.
  • Provides timely and accurate communications, leadership, and results related to performance programs and initiatives.
  • Leverages critical thinking to coordinate, validate and audit project-related processes and provides results to the leadership team tied to key risk or key performance indicators.
  • Evaluates, assesses, and analyzes performance results to identify gaps in teammate skill, knowledge, and delivery.
  • Drives changes and provides input on changes that impact performance results and recommends solutions to improve behavioral skills, technology adoption, training effectiveness and other key performance indicators.

Experience Required

Minimum 5 years of experience

  • Retail or Commercial Banking experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience

  • Program or Project management experience.
  • Management or supervisory experience preferred.

Required Skills or Training

  • Working knowledge of consumer, residential and small business deposit and lending products.
  • Understanding of project and program management techniques and methods.
  • Proficient with Customer Relationship Management applications and new account boarding applications to ensure efficient process flows.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works effectively to meet critical deadlines and customer demands.
