Director of Licensure Services

Reporting to the AVP of Academic Quality and Accreditation, you will oversee and provide support to all licensure and certification programs at the University. You will coordinate across multiple programs and units as SNHU continues to explore high demand programs in licensure fields. You will identify process improvements to refine and strengthen operations and ensure compliance with licensure requirements. You will develop a close working relationship with our academic leadership teams and collaborate with other university partners, including our accreditation and assessment teams. This is a fully remote position.

In this Role You'll Get To:



  • Maintain oversight of all licensure and certification programs across the University.
  • Provide consultation and recommendations on best practices for licensure reporting requirements, academic policies, and assessment measures.
  • Provide input and guidance on the strategic direction of licensure at SNHU.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to maintain compliance with license requirements, including the development of data dashboards, transparency of consumer information, and licensure pass rates.
  • Encourage and facilitate cross-unit collaboration with applicable departments, including: Data Analytics, Marketing, Academics, and General Counsel & Compliance.
  • Coordinate and help support assessment and accreditation efforts as it relates to the intersections of licensure and certifications.
  • Lead state-by-state analysis based on licensure and certification requirements for all applicable programs and courses.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for monitoring state licensure requirement changes.
  • Ensure communication mechanisms and efficient follow-up processes for monitoring the implementation of state requirement changes with appropriate university partners.
  • Manage the compliance aspects of licensure, including auditing: faculty credentials/qualifications, admission into licensure programs, student inquiries and required documentation for licensure, and documentation required to remain in good standing with State Boards and accreditors.
  • Develop new policies based on licensure program and field, according to accreditation standards.
  • Participate in our university or unit committees.



What we're Looking For:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of applicable work experience with experience leading others
  • Experience with regulations, accreditation standards, and administrative rules.
