Job Duties:
In this role, the Paramedic provides advanced life support care to patients who are ill and/or injured. Administers direct care to the patient of all age groups under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician's assistant, and emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or utilizes approved EMS protocols if transporting a patient. Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies as well as paramedic scope of practice.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

State of Indiana EMT-P License or willing to obtain.

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

PALS from AHA, ARC, or AHSI required.

ACLS from AHA, ARC, or AHSI required.

Valid Driver's License.

At least two (2) years previous experience preferred.
